Flamingo Dog Muzzle Silas XXS Black 27-34cm

Flamingo Dog Muzzle Silas XXS Black 27-34cm

The Flamingo Dog Muzzle Silas is a lightweight, comfortable muzzle designed specifically for very small dogs, making it ideal for vet visits, grooming sessions, travel, or any moment when extra control and safety are needed. Sized XXS, it fits dogs with a snout circumference of approximately 27-34cm, making it particularly suitable for toy and small breeds such as Chihuahuas, small terriers, and other petite companions.

Many small dog owners find it difficult to source properly fitted safety equipment, as most muzzles on the market are designed with larger breeds in mind. The Silas range from Flamingo solves this problem by offering a dedicated small-size option that still provides all the functionality of a full-sized muzzle, without being bulky or uncomfortable for a tiny dog to wear.

Key features

• Soft, breathable fabric construction for everyday comfort
• Adjustable strap for a secure, custom fit behind the ears
• Allows the dog to pant, drink water and take small treats
• Lightweight design that does not restrict normal breathing
• Classic black colour, easy to match with any collar or harness
• Compact XXS sizing tailored to very small dog breeds

How to use

Slip the muzzle gently over your dog's nose and fasten the adjustable strap behind the head, ensuring it sits snugly but not tightly. Always introduce a muzzle gradually at home before using it in stressful situations, and reward calm behaviour with praise or treats so your dog associates it with a positive experience rather than fear or discomfort. As with any muzzle, it should never be left on for extended periods without close supervision, and your dog should always be able to pant freely.

Check the fit regularly, especially with growing puppies or if your dog's weight changes, as an ill-fitting muzzle can cause chafing or may not remain secure.
